FAQ - Framed Works

What are Framed Works?

Framed Works are very limited edition fine art prints (runs of 10 only), framed in carefully chosen vintage frames that each have their own character and story. The frames are reconditioned and fitted with minimally reflective art glass, so every detail of the photograph shows while keeping a timeless, painterly look.

Is each piece unique?

Yes. Because every vintage frame is different, each Framed Work is one of a kind. When it sells, that piece is gone and cannot be recreated.

Is the print signed and numbered?

Yes, each print is signed and numbered.

What size is it?

Every piece is a different size, because it depends on the frame. The size is shown on the product page.

Why do you use art glass?

Minimally reflective art glass cuts glare, which matters because of the dark backgrounds in my work.  It is also UV70.

Is it ready to hang?

Yes, each piece is ready to hang.

What condition are the vintage frames in?

Because the frames are vintage, some of them show wear and tear consistent with age.  Please study the photographs carefully.

Can I collect it, or will you deliver?

Framed Works are available for collection from Brighton or local delivery to Brighton and surrounding areas.  If you would like a piece delivered to elsewhere in the UK, this can be arranged at the customer's risk.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Unfortunately I cannot ship framed works abroad due to their delicate nature.

Can I return a Framed Work?

Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund, by emailing info@emmaharrisart.com. Work made to your own brief, such as a commission, can't be cancelled. You can also exchange framed works within 30 days. See the Refund policy.
